At Rauch’s employee focus groups this year, you shared with management what is good about Rauch AND you shared a lot more about what is NOT working!
Well, RAUCH LISTENS and The Management Team is making changes to improve morale and the way employees feel about Rauch and their respective role(s) here.
July 1, 2018 is actually the beginning of a NEW YEAR at Rauch. We are implementing changes that will make EVERYONE proud to be a part of Rauch.
These changes are written into the 2018-19 Strategic Plan which outlines action steps and measures for making these changes HAPPEN!
Three elements were identified as areas for the greatest need of improvement -- training, recognition and communication.
To improve training: An employee portal will be made available on the Rauch website, New Hire Orientation will include more information to help employees better understand their role in the agency PLUS mentoring and leadership programs will be developed for mid managers.
To improve recognition: Employees’ accomplishments will be acknowledged more visibly and more readily.
To improve communication: A communication process will be developed to EMPOWER employees: Representatives from all areas of Rauch will be included in management meetings, the management team will host Rauch Listens discussion sessions (4 x per year) where employees are invited to share ideas and concerns with the management team and the State of the Agency will be reinstated.
