Sign Language Interpreting Services

ASL Interpreting Services, a division of Rauch, Inc., provides professional, quality interpreting to individuals that are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind and to businesses and organizations that interact with those individuals.

Did you know?

  • President George H. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) into law on July 26, 1990.
  • This law is designed to make the necessities and pleasures of life accessible to ALL people.
  • ADA affects employment, state/local agencies, public service, accommodations and various forms of communication.
  • The population to be served includes, but is not limited to, persons who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
  • Each business* is obligated by law to provide the means of communication preferred by their client; including an interpreter.
  • You can receive tax deductions on any interpreting fees your business may incur.

Rauch has interpreted for local celebrities including Muhammad Ali, Al Gore and Heather French Henry.  We have also served the Jefferson, Floyd, Scott and Bullitt County Court Systems and have worked at Indiana University Southeast, University of Louisville, Ivy Tech State College, and all area hospitals.  Rauch, Inc. also periodically offers sign language classes to help you more effectively communicate with clients, employees, family and friends.

The Interpreting Program employs two full-time interpreters, and 32 contract interpreters, who are all bound by RID/NAD Code of Professional Conduct, which ensures confidentiality and professionalism.
