Rauch Inc.Sign Language Services Billing Policy Effective: July 1, 2005
For all assignments that are longer than two hours, it is a requirement
of the Interpreting Profession to provide two interpreters due to the complexity of the materials and the physical requirements of the interpreter for the time period.
For all assignments the Interpreting Services Program Manager will confirm the following information:
Date and Time of the assignment
Location of the Assignment/Directions
Client’s Name
Contact Person/phone number/email/beeper
Billing Address
Type of Appointment (medical, mental health, legal)
Interpreter preference
For all assignments the Interpreter Coordinator Program Manager will confirm that the assignment can be filled providing you with the following information:
Confirmation of Acceptance of the assignment and the ability to fill the assignment.
The name of the interpreter filling the assignment
For all assignments cancellation notice must be made within 24 hours of the assignment. If cancellations occur
within less than 24 hours, you will be billed for the scheduled time and portal to portal. Rauch is required to pay the interpreter for their time scheduled to your business. For all assignments for which a client/patient or individual is a “no show” for the appointment the interpreter will be required to remain at the assignment for 30 minutes. If the client does not show up within 30 minutes of the scheduled appointment the interpreter will be free to leave. A bill will be submitted for the full time scheduled including the portal. For all assignments requiring scheduling all requests must be made through Rauch’s Interpreter Coordinator not through the interpreter providing the services.For all assignments if you dismiss the interpreter early, you will be billed for the full scheduled time. Rauch is required to pay the interpreter for the scheduled time. Fee: $50.00 an hour portal to portal.
