Adult Developmental Activities
Adult Developmental Activities serves adults who are diagnosed with the most significant disabilities. These disabilities can be mental, physical, behavioral or a combination of all three.
Clients who attend ADA reside in a variety of residential settings. Many live with parents or other family members, others are residents of local group homes, some reside in Supported Living arrangements, while others reside in local nursing homes.
Day services begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. weekdays only. Clients are responsible for providing their own food, personal items, and transportation. Some clients utilize TARC. Most clients attend full day sessions, five days each week, however, personalized schedules may be arranged.
Funding for day services is diverse, many clients utilize funds from their Medicaid Waiver. Clients residing in group home negotiate with Rauch and the group home company is responsible for funding. If a resident of a nursing home is interested in day services, they may be eligible for OB RA funds. (State monies).
Curriculum is varied, individualized, and goal-oriented to encourage each client to live up to his/her highest potential.
